The Ballarat Market is located in the Ballarat Showgrounds. There is an entry gate on the corner of Creswick Rd and Howitt Street, Wendouree.
The Ballarat Market is an all-weather event, open every Sunday with the exception of a few events held by Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society holds events e.g., Ballarat Show Day
Dogs will be permitted to enter the Ballarat Market provided the owners meet the following conditions.
1. All dogs must be on leads
2. Dog owners must have waste collection bags with them. ( The Ballarat Market will provide bags as necessary)
3. Dog behaviour is subject to the Domestic Animals Regulations 2015 (Vic)
4. The Ballarat market reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog
There is no entry fee to the market, however a gold coin donation would be appreciated so the Rotary Club of Ballarat South can continue to support both local and international projects.
The Ballarat Market is a ‘Not for Profit’ community event co-ordinated by The Rotary Club of Ballarat South, with 100% of proceeds used to benefit local community organisations and Rotary ventures.
We don’t have an ATM onsite, but there is an ATM located at BP BALLARAT NORTH, just across the road from the Showgrounds.

Booking types
1. Stallholders
Stallholders need to apply via the Stall Bookings webpage. Once approved, you may book in advance up to 6pm on the Thursday prior to the market day. Payment is via a credit or debit card on-line using a secure payment gateway. All stallholders must hold their own public liability insurance.
The exception is:
2. Car-Boot Alley
Stallholders are able to attend and pay on the day for this stall type. This site type is reserved solely for “Car-Boot Alley” and is ideal for spring cleaning or garage sale type stalls.
